Physiotherapy with Optimum

Now offering Telehealth, Home Visits and In-Clinic services. Our Physiotherapists work alongside and lead our team of Exercise Physiologists. We will work with you to create a long term exercise and rehabilitation plan to prevent the reoccurrence of your pain, symptoms or injuries.

Our Physiotherapy team undergo regular upskilling in-house and from external courses to provide you with the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatment for all your aches and pains. Our physiotherapists use a holistic approach to assess and determine the root cause of your pain or injury, so that we can give you the most appropriate advice and treatment to resolve your problem long-term.

OUR TREATMENT

An initial physiotherapy session will involve taking a thorough history of your injury, followed by a physical assessment, diagnosis, discussion of your goals and management, and providing evidence-based treatment most appropriate for your needs. Our treatment may consist of hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, strapping or prescription of splints/braces; and a tailored exercise program to address the areas of concern. We will also liaise with your sports coach, and/or all your treating healthcare professionals and may refer you on to other appropriate health services if required, to aid in your recovery.

our state-of-the-art facilities

Our locations are equipped with full-sized gyms containing modern equipment to cater to all sorts of clientele groups with various lifestyles. We have acquired a Litegait support device that can be used in balance and gait training for people who have poor balance after a stroke or other neurological conditions (available at Sylvania and Liverpool). Some of our clinics (Campbelltown, Croydon Park and Blacktown) also have a hydrotherapy pool with underwater treadmills for clients who require low impact exercise programs.

NDIS – Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy for participants of the NDIS is focused on improving the quality of life and functional capacity of the client, so as to meet your NDIS goals. The types of conditions we manage include (but are not limited to):
