Occupational Therapist - Multiple locations available

An Occupational Therapist who is vastly experienced in home modifications, therapy programs and comprehensive reports writing, as well as various clinical assessments would also be of advantage. We have roles currently based in;

NOWRA - Allied Health Professionals

We are expanding all the way to Nowra!

With this excitement comes a whole new multidisciplinary team! Optimum are currently seeking the following clinicians;

Exercise Physiologist - Campbelltown & Mittagong

This full time role provides a fantastic opportunity to be exposed to a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams, including; musculoskeletal rehabilitation, disability management, postural correction, chronic disease management and weight loss. 

You will Travel between Campbelltown and Mittagong sites as follows;

  • Campbelltown – Monday, Wednesday & Friday – approximately 12–8pm shift
  • Mittagong – Tuesday & Thursday – approximately 9-5 shift.

- SOUTHERN TABLELANS/HIGHLANDS -

GOULBURN - Exercise Physiologist

The Duties

  • Conduct health & fitness assessments and set patient goals
  • Create & prescribe exercise programs involving gym & hydrotherapy
  • Conduct individual & group training programs
  • Establish relationships with clients and built rapport
  • Establish relationships with other practitioners
  • Achieve personal & branch KPI targets
  • Involvement in marketing & communication strategies and campaigns
  • Involvement in business development plans

GOULBURN - Occupational Therapist

About the Duties

This role will provide services in a number of areas including:

  • Functional needs and capacity assessments
  • NDIS & Disability assessments and intervention and treatments
  • Health and well-being assessments
  • Workplace and ergonomic assessments
  • Develop treatment plans and set goals
  • Provide education and make recommendations
  • Coordinate treatment with other practitioners
  • Establish relationships with clients and other practitioners

Physiotherapist - Relocate to Goulburn!

This full time role provides a fantastic opportunity to be exposed to a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams. This is a challenging and varied position, which will optimise your current experience and allow you to expand your experience and knowledge, and provides opportunities for professional development, being mentored and networking with other allied health professionals.

GOULBURN - Speech Pathologist

About the duties (but not limited to);

Due to business growth, we are seeking driven Speech Pathologists to join our team!

With a strong NDIS and disability focus, this will be challenging and rewarding role for the right person, with lots of scope for development and diverse application of your professional skills and experience. This role provides a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams, and includes paediatric and adults clients.

HOBART - Speech Pathologist

About the Duties

This role will provide services in a number of areas including but not limited to:

  • Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
  • Design, trial and implementation of low tech and high tech communication devices
  • Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans
  • Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties 
  • Coordinating with other allied health professionals and GP’s
  • Provide education to clients, families, the community and other practitioners/ staff
  • Involvement in health promotions, quality improvement activities

HOBART - Physiotherapist - Private Practice

About the Duties

We are seeking Physiotherapists to join our multidisciplinary team. This role provides a mixed caseload with a heavy NDIS focus based at our Mornington clinic.

The roles will encompass in-clinic gym and hydrotherapy appointments, as well as home visits. Due to the strong focus on the disability sector, it would be of advantage to have some experience working with disability and/or hospital neurorehabilitation experience.

HOBART - Occupational Therapist

About the Duties

With mixed caseloads and a strong NDIS focus,  these will be challenging and rewarding roles for the right person, with lots of scope for development and diverse application of your professional skills and experience.

The roles involve providing NDIS & Disability assessments and intervention and therapies, both in a clinic and a community/ home setting. Well-being assessments, intervention and written reports, develop treatment plans, set goals and make recommendations, including home modifications.
