  • Optimum Rehab has designed an exercise, nutrition and education program to improve your health and well-being by implementing sustainable lifestyle changes.

    Dietary changes will be implemented with the guidance of a nutritionist, who will educate you on the optimum way to maintain a balanced, healthy diet.

    An individual exercise program will be prescribed that includes hydrotherapy, resistance training and cardiovascular training. The exercise program aims to increase your calorie expenditure which can improve your rate of weight loss when combined with a low calorie diet. The exercise sessions will be fully supervised by an Exercise Physiologist who will ensure you are exercising in a safe manner, whilst maximizing your sessions outcomes.

    The education program focuses on behavior modification, to encourage your diet and exercise changes to become a part of your lifestyle.
  • Optimum Rehab and Personal Training provides evidence based exercise programs for the treatment and management of chronic diseases, including:
    • Diabetes and Impaired Glucose Tolerance
    • Cardiovascular disease including high blood pressure
    • Arthritis
    • Osteoporosis
    • Obesity
    • Depression
    • Chronic Low Back Pain
    Patients who have a chronic medical condition and complex care needs, can be referred to an Exercise Physiologist for up to 5 sessions as part of their Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan
  • Optimum Rehab has designed an exercise rehabilitation program that aims to improve joint stability through muscular strength training, flexibility training and proprioceptive training.

    The program will be individually tailored to your specific injury, and will take into account the stage of tissue healing and your current physical status. All sessions will be fully supervised by exercise physiologists or physiotherapists.
  • Optimum Rehab has designed a world class exercise rehabilitation program that uses evidence based treatment for recovery from chronic low back pain. The program will focus firstly on relieving pain and restoring mobility, then secondly on improving stability and strength in the lower back and core muscles.
  • Optimum Rehab and Personal Training have designed evidence based exercise programs for women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. The exercise programs will ensure you have a safe and healthy pregnancy, and be individualized to focus on specific problems or areas of weakness, and will also include:
    • Aerobic fitness
    • Strengthening of core, pelvic floor muscles and lower back
    • Whole body toning and conditioning
    • Stretching
  • Optimum Rehab and Personal Training have designed a group exercise program specifically for mums and bubs. The sessions are an hour and half in length to allow time for mums to care for their babies and socialize with other mothers whilst still undertaking a complete exercise session. The training session will focus on:
    • Strengthening of low back, core and pelvic floor muscles
    • Aerobic fitness
    • Post-natal weight loss
    • Toning
    • Stretching
